NEW ROLE: SOCIAL PRODUCER (CONTRACT)

53Six is looking for a Social Producer to join our Dublin team, working across some of the biggest sports brands globally and platforms. This is a hands-on role for someone who lives and breathes social content and wants to sharpen their craft inside a fast-moving sports marketing agency.

THE ROLE

You’ll be responsible for day-to-day social content creation and publishing, with a strong focus on short-form, vertical video and match-led sports content.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage social media accounts for 53Six clients

  • Manage 53Six’s own social channels and assist with wider company marketing activity

  • Produce, edit, and publish content — particularly vertical video for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts

    • Understand and execute against defined geo restrictions for live rights

  • Ability to support on live and VOD content

  • Work extensively with match archive and sports footage, turning it into engaging social-first clips

  • Write clear, engaging copy to accompany social posts

  • Optimise posts for performance, including tagging, formatting, and basic SEO where applicable

  • Work closely with our YouTube Product Manager to support both long-form and short-form video output

  • Assist with picture research for longer form edits

  • Content ideation for clients and 53Six

  • Capture BTS content at shoots and footage at sporting events

ABOUT YOU

  • Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience working in social media and content creation

  • Strong video editing skills, especially for vertical formats

  • Comfortable working with sports footage and fast turnaround content

  • Strong written skills and an understanding of platform-native tone

  • Deep understanding of social platforms and the respective algorithms 

  • Organised, proactive, and keen to learn inside a collaborative team

ROLE DETAILS

  • 6-month contract, with potential to move to a full-time position

  • Based in the 53Six Dublin office

  • Ideal for someone early in their career looking to build serious experience in sports content

  • Occasional weekend work will be required (time in lieu will be provided)
